Good morning, Mintdom!
I have Toastmasters this morning so this will be short. I had a GREAT retreat yesterday. I really needed to have a day to reflect and take stock. I did not get everything done that was on my agenda, and that is totally fine with me. It shows me that next time, I need a weekend! lol I will do another one in November. One of the things that I decided is that I am a bit overcommitted. I am going to give up a couple of my activities – now I just need to let them know, which is the difficult part. No one is indispensable though, so I am sure that those groups will get along just fine without me! LOL I am keeping my Toastmasters obligation (need it for when I am famous one day LOL), Team Networks (will not give up the Marty ((Meeting and a Party)), the Communications Committee for my neighborhood, and of course what I call the ALC (Agent Leadership Council) Special Events Committee (I love it). Oh, and of course, I am keeping Mintdom and I think that I will keep my job too! LOL!
I am committing to doing at least 6,000 steps a day for the rest of the month. I need to push myself a little harder. I can do it. If we are supposed to do 10,000 steps a day, I can at least do 6,000. November, I will bump it up to 8,000. That is my plan – so it be said – so it be done!

I am agreeing with Ms. Tomlin. I feel so much better after my retreat. I tend to run and run, and when I get in the weeds, my solution is to run harder. I learned from this weekend, that what I really need to is slow down occasionally. Remember the story of the Tortoise and the Hare http://tinyurl.com/TortoiseHare. I am working on being more of the hare!
