Food Journal – Yes
Good morning Mintdom!
I am back to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Sweetheart). I DO know that what K.I.S.S. really means. I will not use that word on you or me though. At least for now, I will just put my steps and whether I kept a food journal or not. I am streamlining my life as much as possible right now. Activities tend to suck me up! I really want to keep my focus on my health right now. For me, my health includes my physical and mental health. I know that there are many organizations that need help and that are truly worthy, but that is just it – there are SO MANY. A healthy life is a balanced life. I am still looking for that balance. I think we often need to experience extreme to the other before we coast to the middle. I hope that I am coasting to the middle now!
I had a GREAT day, yesterday. I actually slept in until almost 8:00, I went to that wonderful brunch with family and friends, then to the grocery store, and then came home and made chili (healthy chili made with ground turkey). During this time, I spoke to a couple of Toastmaster friends about our meeting this morning and other things. After I put the chili together, I went to the pool for almost an hour. I came home, ate my yummy dinner, watched one show, and was in bed by 10:30! Now I consider that a well-balanced day! I would like to put more of those together. What do you consider a healthy, well-blanked day? Do you have them?
