Good morning Mintdom,

Over 6,000 steps is not too bad for the start of the new month.  I know, I know, I am supposed to be in the 7,000’s. I still do not have what health experts consider an active lifestyle BUT I CAN tell you that I AM so much improved. When I started tracking and reporting, my steps I was in the 2,000’s.  I do not see those now unless I am sick! I can definitely see improvement (Patting myself on the back).

I still have my 10,000-step goal on my list; it IS taking me longer to get there then I anticipated.  It is OK – remember I am the tortoise type, not the hare type!  During these times, I need to be extra nice to myself.  In the past, I would kick myself for not achieving a goal that I set; however, I learned that when I have one foot up my ‘kiester’, it makes it difficult to move forward!  Today, I choose to move forward.
