How to Wrestle a Gorilla!

Good morning Mintdom

 

The new office is going to be awesome, and I will be there full time by next week.  I am so excited; it is all very high tech as well as beautiful!  With the new office come more opportunities and challenges. For instance, I have the opportunity to work more efficiently and effectively.  The challenge will be to be even more diligent about setting priorities, planning and keeping focused through normal office distractions. My biggest challenge is to stay focused on keeping my health as a number one priority.  The new office will not matter without my health.

 

I saw this yesterday morning, and I am writing the questions on a 3 x 5 card to post on my bulletin board to remind me each day of my priorities.

 

1. What one thing will I do today to advance my most important goal?

 

2. What priority deserves all of my attention next?

 

Of course, the first thing I need to do is write my priority list for the day (the day before).

Do you plan your day in advance?  Do you make a priority list?  Take out a piece of paper and write down your priorities for today.  Do it now (smile).  Add to your list, to buy a notebook or planner in order to do this exercise every day.  Try it for a month – I bet that you will wear your gorilla out first!
