Good morning Mintdom,
I spent the weekend away at my folks in order for the ExterMINTator (my Dad) to exterMINTate yet another mouse. He is a smart little critter, who ended up with two free meals. I might have to try something else. We tried peanut butter but it was light peanut butter and the little guy did not like it! LOL I also tried one of those things you plug in the wall to repel mice but he just runs on by it. LOL The saga continues.
“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” ~ Dale Carnegie ~
I guess you can tell by my steps, that I have lost a little of my zeal and comMINTment lately. This weekend I began a new book, The Spark, by Chris Downie, founder www.SparkPeople.com. Last night hit me when I read the following:
“We all have a deep wish, an inner inkling of what we want to accomplish and the values we want to live by. But with so many distractions, it’s often hard to hold on to – like a golden cord that is pulled further away as the years go by.”
This struck me because work, extra curricular activities, and even the mouse have distracted me. This morning, I am refocused and comMINTed to my health. I will get my steps up to 7,000 Steps today, PLUS a 10-minute workout. Are you comMINTed to your plan or have you lost focus? If you have lost some of your resolve, stop and remember why you made that comMINTment in the first place. I would love to hear your thoughts. You can post them on www.Mintdom.com. Thanks for being on this journey with me!
AffirMINTion: I am committed to improving my health.
Make it a GREAT day, IF you choose to.
What are you waiting for?
Life is good!
