01/19/10 – 6,045 Steps
Good morning Mintdom,
Yesterday, a friend of mine poked his head in my office and gave me a little nudge to get my steps back up. It worked because I got them back up over 6,000 – not a lot over, but over none-the-less. This is one of the benefits of writing this blog. I have many people holding me accountable. I DO think that I am in a bit of a slump, but let me tell you that it is hard to be in a slump and write this blog. If I was not writing, I know that my steps would not have been over the 6,000 mark. All this shows me that it doesn’t really matter whether I FEEL like stepping it up or not, whether I FEEL like getting up and writing or not, knowing that you are out there reading spurs me on to keep it up and step it up. Thank you.

I think that part of my slump is that I am a little out of balance in my life. It is a little difficult, especially for a single person, to find balance because there is only one person doing it all. This weekend I plan to take some time out for self-examination, and to fill up my tanks at a day and a half retreat so stay tuned.
