02/14/10 – 3,200 – 3,340 Steps
Good Morning Mintdom,
I am baaaaaack! I know, a little late in the morning, because I did not sleep much last night. I have been gone to my parents’ house for over a week because of the snow. It was so wonderful to spend so much time with them and one of my sisters. I am home now though and ready to tackle my life again. I missed you all.
Maybe you noticed the number one under my step count. No, it is not a typo; it stands for my first day of 10 minutes of exercise. It might take 21 days to make a habit, but it takes no time at all to get out of a habit, and I am so out of the habit. Since my foot is still bad, I am unable to get my step count up; therefore, I am committing to doing 10-minutes of exercise every morning. I started this morning. My first goal is to do 21 days in a row. My hope is that I increase my time. I am starting with doing everything on the ball because I get more out of it.

I am not giving up on my goal to be healthy or to get to the 10,000 step-a-day goal. I am adjusting my schedule and routine in order to get there. Do you ever have to adjust your routine in order to meet a goal?
