Good morning Mintdom,
I came across this video yesterday, and it reminded me of a time in my life a couple of years ago. I think everyone knows a complainer – you know someone who complains about everything. I used to go to this very small gym where there was a woman who was like that. Every day she had numerous complaints. After listening to her complaints about her two-week vacation in Maui, I began using headphones.
Before the headphones, I would complain about her complaining. When I stopped listening and stopped complaining, I realized that my mornings became a lot more stress-free, and I had even more energy during the day. Obviously, I cannot wear headphones all day, but I DO try to surround myself with positive people. I quit listening to ‘talk’ radio; instead, I listen to positive music stations. I read many positive and uplifting books. Of course, I still have stressors in my life – we all do; however, I lead a relatively stress free life. If you feel stressed, begin eliminating the negative influences in your life and stop complaining, and replacing them with the positive ones. I bet that you will feel better quickly!
