03/03/10 – 4,870 Steps
Good morning Mintdom,
Last night I began writing an article for my community newsletter. I wanted to talk about my experience wearing a pedometer and the advantages it holds. I realized that I have been wearing a pedometer since June of 2009 – that is about nine months! What started as a competition with four other people, ended as a compeition with ourselves. Maybe it was because we did not know each other, I do not know, but that is how it was. Each day I tried to do better then the last day. I started out averaging 2,000 steps per day and before my foot injury, I was averaging 6,000 steps per day. My goal is to average 10,000 steps per day. I have three months to go to make my goal, although I might give myself a little grace since I had this little set-back. This quote says what I found to be true. I am more inspired to outdo myself – that way no one loses!
