5 glasses of water

Good morning Mintdom

I am still trying to get on schedule with the puppy so please bear with me.  I know my step count is low, but this morning it is already up to 3,454 steps – thanks to my sister Becky who asked that I walk with her two or three times a week at 6:15 in the morning!  I do not know if I should kiss her or curse her!  LOL I am kidding because anyone or anything that gets me out early in the morning is a great thing.  I do not know if you people that are in my area have been outside, but it was such a pleasant surprise; it is a gorgeous morning!

“Refusing to ask for help when you need it is refusing someone the chance to be helpful.” Ric Ocasek

Thank you, Becky for asking me to walk with you; it not only gave me the opportunity to help you, but I receiving the benefits of being helpful, exercise, and the pleasure of your company.

The other day I asked about this song, “I’m a Hottie Now”.  Thank you, Millie701 (Spark People) and a dear AOL friend who sent me links to the song! I now have it downloaded on my computer! Whoo hoo!

Here is the shortened link to download ‘I’m a Hottie Now’ I love it!

There is nothing like having a good support system that helps encourage, nudge and even push you through to your goals.  My goal now is to get back to getting up by 5:00 am in order to do my writing BEFORE she comes at 6:15.  Anyone have a good trick to getting up extra early – especially when there is a cute little snuggler in the bed with me?  LOL

Make it a GREAT day, IF you choose to.

What are you waiting for?

Well, I think the key to getting up early is getting to bed early! LOL I find it easier to get up early if I mentally prepare myself the night before by focusing on the positives that will follow the early call. 🙂

  2. It is inspirational to hear you story. My girlfriend and I are embarking on a journey of health and fitness and are a month into it now. We love to read up on others stories, as it gives us added motivation to keep on going. If interested, you can check our blog out at Keep it up!
