02/16/10 – 2,042 Steps
Good morning Mintdom,
I came across this short movie yesterday from SimpleTruths.com, and after watching it, I decided to do 12 minutes of exercise each day – I guess it in my case it should be 11 minutes, but I decided to do12 in honor of the movie. http://www.212movie.com/ You really need to watch it – it says this:
At 111 degrees, water is hot. At 112 degrees water boils, and boiling water produces steam and steam can run a locomotive. One little degree can make a big difference. It goes on to give some examples. One example is that the margin for victory between an Olympic gold medal and no medal is very small. In the 2004, men’s 800m race the margin of victory was .71 seconds. Wow! Therefore, I am turning up the heat on my 10 minutes of exercise to 12 minutes.
“Don’t be content with doing only your duty. Do more than your duty. It’s the horse that finishes a neck ahead wins the race.” –Andrew Carnegie
Is there something that you can do to turn up the heat in order to meet your goals; it only takes one degree!
AffirMINTion: I am turning up the heat in order to reach my goals
Make it a GREAT day, IF you choose to.
What are you waiting for?
Life is good!
